“Like roaring beasts through the desert, the langoliers' gaping maws against the tissue of the high skies, time flows condensed into beats per minute, to minutes, seconds grinding ahead; so Chronos eats his spawn, the female spider devours the male after mating; the mill churns; keeps human flesh, the mass of muscle, moving – repeat/repeat, pulse; and from the womb of that machine the song of angels and blaring trumpets! The water squeezed from a cactus, the thorn of the sweet rose; the tooth of time; the great wheel rotates; the springs creak; life wants to live!”

The 2014 Flow Festival identity went black and white mixed with shades of metal. The chrome coloured illustrations were done in co-operation with Anima Boutique.
